| The nickel titanium instrument,
introduced by Dr. McSpadden in 1991, began a revolution
in endodontics. The revolution moved forward when Dr.
McSpadden introduced the use of multiple tapers. Now,
the next level of the revolution is about to be
introduced.

Most anticipated that once
critical information of the first tier of introductory nickel
titanium rotary instruments was gathered and assimilated, the result
would be the next generation of instruments. That anticipation was
with good reason! The result is a completely new concept for file design now available
only to seminar participants, advancing these limited few to the next level of
excellence.
As
ideal file design concepts evolved through the experiences gained
from the different approaches of file designs that have now appeared
on the market, the file now being introduced at the seminars quietly
became a reality. This advanced file
maximizes convenience by minimizing the torsional stress that
resulted in the limitations of previous files. To compliment the
file, a smart handpiece was
designed to enhance the parameters for the use of this exciting new
instrument. And, as one might expect, new preparation techniques lead to
new obturation techniques.
With these developments comes the too apparent awareness
that technology never halts and our needs for technology never end.
We also became aware that instruction now needs to be just as
innovative and continuous as the developing technology. Cloudland
Institute for Advanced Learning, an extremely ambitious project,
was founded to help provide the means for introducing the next level
of technology with the instruction necessary in adopting and
integrating new developments into practice.

With a unique approach
to learning, Cloudland Institute provides not only the newest
advancements, but also
the tools to continuously leverage the information necessary for
understanding and keeping abreast of future developments. The
collaboration of internationally renowned authorities,
state-of-the-art facilities, and on-going interactive electronic
communication, enables seminar participants to
adapt their pursuit of excellence during changing technology.
